I live within walking distance of this place and it has never disappointed me. Several of those times I was under the influence of alcohol and needed something hearty to dive into. It is beneficial that it is open at all hours of the night so you can call or stop in at any time. My favorites include their seasoned chili fries and the 1/4 red hot. Don't sleep on the omelets either, they are jam packed and very filling. Stop in if you're in the area and need a quick bite, you will leave satisfied.

You know, In a town that has a coney on almost every corner, and not all being equal of course, it's pretty easy to pass by 1, 2, 3...hell, 11 or 12 coneys without any of them catching your attention. Case and point with this place. I've even ran by it, I don't know many times in the morning and the only thought to enter my mind is "hmm...another coney". That said, I gave them a try this evening just to grab a quick coney and satisfy a "coney Jones" and wow...what a nice surprise. Place is immaculate, service was warm and friendly and the coney was pretty damn good. It had a little snap to the bite which I like (not everyone does) but that's ok. He coney sauce - classic Detroit style...simple, savory and good.

What a weird experience.
I was craving a hani and the Coney's I know around me were all closed so I thought I would give them a try.
The waitress was nice and the food came fast.
The lettuce was brown/red around the edges something I would never serve to anyone. Other than that the food tasted ok.
When the heat kicked on it smelled at first like cigarette smoke then just stunk.
The weirdest part though was when I went to checkout I had my nice fluffy scarf in my purse and the waitress plucked it out of my purse and wrapped it around her neck saying "ooo this is nice." It was just a very odd thing.
She gave it back and was nice. The place wasn't particularly clean or good. Just an overall odd experience. May have caught them on an off night though... -

First I love a good Detroit style coney dog. When I moved up here from Kansas I became an addict. Back in the younger days every night had to end in Onassis, two dogs with everything, fries, and coke. Well this was nothing like Onassis one of the dogs was stone cold and I don't think the brand was Kogel the lack of snap and tough skin wasn't what I had hoped for. The room is ok but the TV was had to see and the staff was preoccupied. Not my kind of place.

Last week I asked for no cheese on my pita. It comes with both American Cheese and feta cheese. They didn't put american on it, but For some reason they put feta cheese on it. Now this week asked for a vegetarian Pita with no and it says it doesn't come with onions; however they put onions on it anyway.
